Grand Master Choi's Kick Cancer Out of the World!^TM

1993 was a turning point for Grand Master Choi, having watched his father suffer from cancer for close to a year, there was little he could do as his father lost his battle to this horrible disease. Feeling helpless during his father's illness, Grand Master Choi dedicated his life to raising awareness of the effects of cancer and early prevention. The Kick Cancer Out of the World™ benefit was started this same year to help organizations such as the American Cancer Society and Blue Ridge Hospice raise money for cancer research and patient care.

Grand Master Choi has set a goal to raise a million dollars for cancer research in his lifetime. Each year, USTMA holds several events to raise awareness and money to support cancer research. Annual events include:
