USTMA hosted its 17th Annual Kick Cancer Out of the World Tae Kwon Do Tournament on Oct 3rd, 2009 and again showed how the love of the sport can make a difference in our community. In it's 17th year, the Tournament continues to draw an immense level of support within the local community to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and the Blue Ridge Hospice.

This year showcased USTMA's stellar Competition Team, under the guidance and coaching of Master John Choi - 2009 has proven to be an incredible year for USTMA's Competition team who returned home from Austn, TX with 13 medals from the Junior Olympics and Nationals Competition, and also visited Korea for the team's first international competition.
