Kukkiwon, also known as World Taekwondo Headquarters, and home of the World Taekwondo Academy, is where the official taekwondo governing organization was established by the South Korean government. It is supervised by the International Sports Division of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

 

USTMA is a proud member of the Kukkiwon organization and is certified to present Kukkiwon certification to all qualifying students.

Ownership of a Kukkiwon Dan certificate demonstrates international acceptance of Taekwondo skills. This is the highest Dan level certification available in the world today.
