USTMA is the best choice for your family. I say this with passion because I have twin 4.5 yr old boys both with autism, they (WE) all enjoy all aspects of USTMA because not only are my boys learning taekondo skills... they are learning to listen, follow directions, and be respectful.
Nearly 40 Years of Black Belts
Families don't stay for decades at a school that doesn't deliver. Here's what nearly four decades of authentic Taekwondo looks like.

Generations of Black Belts
The strongest proof of a martial arts school isn't trophies on a shelf — it's families who keep coming back. At USTMA, students who earned their black belts in the 1990s now bring their own children to train under the same standard. That's not marketing. That's trust built over decades.
Some families have been part of the USTMA community for 5 years. Some for 10. Some for over 20. They stay because the training works, the instructors care, and the standard never drops. When your school is built on legacy — not trends — families don't leave.
Milestones
USTMA Founded
Grandmaster Eung Gil Choi opens the first USTMA academy in Leesburg, Virginia, bringing authentic Kukkiwon World Taekwondo to Northern Virginia.
KCOTW Foundation Launched
Grandmaster Choi starts Kick Cancer Out of the World after losing his father to cancer. His goal: donate $1,000,000 to cancer research and aid cancer patients in our community. KCOTW partners with Inova Schar Cancer, Blue Ridge Hospice, and the American Cancer Society. Nearly $500,000 raised and counting.

What Families Are Saying.
Real reviews from families in our Leesburg and Berryville communities.
I been coming to USTMA for the past 4 years. Great school and excellent teacher. Don't waste your time searching for cheap martial arts schools. You get high quality for your money. Also best 5 times winner of Loudoun.
A good martial arts school.. probably the best in Leesburg. I interviewed 4 different schools in Leesburg and this one was the best value with the most classes for the price. The after school program is also best of the schools I looked at.
My son Sean Hall used to do the US TMA in Leesburg in the 90's from the age of 5 to 9. He got his black belt then decided to take another path. I remember Master Choi and David Lutes taking very good care of Sean teaching him very well.
USTMA is amazing. The instructors create a family atmosphere for all. They help build confidence in their students. They create an atmosphere of respect, tradition, responsibility, and kindness. The patience given to the students is remarkable.
We started my son here when he was just 4 years old to help give him some focus and burn off some of that extra energy. The change was almost immediate. 6 1/2 years later, and he just passed his 2nd dan belt test! All five members of my family train here.
USTMA is not just a taekwondo school - it is a family. The instructors honestly care about the students and push them to be their best every day. Wonderful place for taekwondo, after school programs, and summer camp!
I cannot say enough how much I love US Taekwondo Martial Arts Academy. This is an activity I've been able to be involved with alongside my children. I get a great work out and get to spend time with my kids at the same time! My boys are learning discipline and respect.
My daughter, husband and I have been going here for only a couple months now but we love USTMA. My daughter is only 5 and getting her to focus sometimes is a challenge but the instructors here are very patient and are always able to bring her back.
My son has attended USTMA for over a year now. He loves going. Our family enjoys the 'family-like' environment. He has gained so much confidence in himself. The school promotes growth and discipline in all areas; taekwondo, school work, and life.
We love this place. We signed up in the Spring of 2013 and our son has attended summer camp and after school care as well. From Master Choi on down the line - everyone is wonderful, thoughtful, encouraging, and inspiring!
USTMA is an amazing facility with kind, hardworking, and helpful instructors who love their school. My experiences with the family that USTMA has brought together have been nothing short of fantastic.
